Remember the days when you wanted everyone to think you were older...yea..yea... a long time ago in my case....then I went through a phase of my life when everyone thought I was younger than I really was (pretty thick head of hair)...today was the first time I reversed the question..SO HOW OLD ARE YOU? by a co-worker and got a painful response many years older than I am....times are a changin!!! :smirk:

I was gettin' carded until I was well into my 30's. Used to get really defensive when asked for my id. One guy even refused to let me in a club because he thought my id was a fake.

While I haited it back then - but today I love it when folks give me that "no way" look when I tell'em I'll be the big 5-0 on my next b-day. :wink:

Heck my Grandpa didn't look much older than 65 when he died at 85.

It occurs to me that we want to be thought of as older than we are until the first time we go to a bar or try to buy liquor and DON'T get carded. Then suddenly it becomes "Hey, you carded those people, but you're not going to card ME?!"

My nephew just had his second birthday, and I told him he looks great for his age, not a day over zero.
