Not exactly in our backyard, but two galaxies are heading into each other. Just can't trust those pesky Black Holes - just can't trust 'em.

Whew.....I thought we may have had a real problem. For a minute there, I assumed you were talking about George Castanza's worlds colliding.

The only word to describe it is "awesome".

I assume it's a Hubble image. Amazing stuff on the Hubble website, or should I say <span style="font-style: italic">awesome</span>!
 
Hmmm. 400 million light years away, the view we see indicates core "merge" in two.

Old news, already happened.

...and not ONE mention of the imminent collision of Andromeda and OUR OWN galaxy. sheesh.

I gotta watch the news more often. I'm always the last to hear about that kinda thing.
