When it comes to distributors. . . .

. . . There IS only one place to deal with.

I had my distributor rebuilt by Jeff at Advanced Distributors and I must say it was the best money I spent on the engine. When my distributor came back from Advanced Distributors the engine ran so much better.
So, why am I posting this now? It is because I recently had a problem that could have been related to the distributor… I called Advanced Distributors to discuss the problem, and without hesitation Jeff said “send it back and let me have a look at it”. Customer service at its BEST!
It my book, the worth of a company is how they treat their customer both during and AFTER a sale. Do your British car a favor and have Advanced restore your distributor… you WILL be very pleased!

In that vein, I purchased a Breathe Cool unit to prevent breathing welding fumes, rust dust, etc. After about 10 hours of use, the unit began to blow HOT air and would only run when dialed wide open. Motor was binding. Contacted the company and sent the unit back. Had a new unit in one week. A warranty that worked as promised. There are good people out there.

bgbassplyr, it's refreshing to hear positive feedback concerning, shops, suppliers and the like, years ago i wrote on this forum that i would no longer support any of them dispite thier favorable sevices because id recommended a vendor here in stamford ct. whos owner turned out to be a real "sport and classic", i personally recieved complaints by several of our forum members and nonmembers about this establishments misbehaver, these allegations were later proven to be totally justified and whos services and honesty remain lacking. i understand that we will each come away with a different experience when dealing with anyone and can only hope it will be a pleasant one. these are two shops with whom ive had the pleasure of doing business with over the years, "joe curto inc.", specializing in s.u. and zenith carbs, kits, parts, rebuilding etc. college point n.y. (718) 762-7878. and "quantumechanics", john esposito, transmissions, overdrives, differentials, parts, rebuilding, 5 speed conversions, etc. monroe ct. (203) 459-9612
