TR6 Wheel spacers

Just purchased and installed new wheels (Konig Rewind, 15 x 7) and Cooper Tires (205/50R15). Tires are rubbing especially in reverse. Konig wheels do not have an offset and it looks like a 6 mm (1/4") spacer might solve the problem. Am I right that the spacer will help and where can I get 4 spacers?

Thank you in advance for all suggestions / comments.

Summit racing. I needed them for the front of my TR 6 1973when I went to 16 inch rims. I got information that lug nuts should have 6 full threads. so I needed longer studs also. View attachment 70541

I got a set locally at a Hot Rod shop and then later got a set on eBay (both used when fitting wire wheels to hubs with long studs for steel wheels).

Be sure the use of a spacer does not compromise the security of the the studs and lug nuts.

Thank you. I found a spacers at Moss Motors. I'll definitely be watching how the spacers affect the studs.

Where do you buy longer studs for rear wheels of TR6 & do you have a part number? Thank you!
