wheel arches covering

could someone tell what is a good backing for the wheel arch covers my carpet kit came with the cut out material,also what is a good strong adhesive for gluing them on thanks 1973 tr6

Use 1/8 inch foam and cement in first. It will smooth out any irregularities and gice you a nice tight finished look.

I used a thin foam, and 3M upholstery adhesive.

And if you are an originality freak, you can get cotton batting from any good sewing store.
