was thinking about geting about getting wheel adapters for my tr8 since i would like to get bigger rims and a new looking stlye. has any one tried these and have any comments on how are if they change the handle if you change the offset of the rims to compesate for the adapters moving the rims out by 1"...any comments..thanks

I am running 195/50 R15 82V Goodyear Eagle F1s mounted on Boyd's (Coddington) 15" billit wheels. I use no adapters. I have performance springs and struts from Woody Cooper. I had to have the front end allligned because the springs lowered the car 1". I love the handling! I also like the stance of the car. I bought the car with the wheels; since their manufacture Coddington has gone bankrupt and started over again, so I doubt they are available. Other 15" wheels must be available, however.

i know about codington's and have priced wheels for my tr8 but i was trying to get around pay 1400 to 1500 for a set of rims when i could use a adapter and get a set of cheaper wheels that look as good.. but am worried about safty and handling i don't want to lose my handling since the car drives like its glued to the road..
