I upgraded to Firefox 4 last week, then Firefox 5 insisted that I upgrade to them. In fact, it upgrade automatically, without my consent. Now, my McAfee Site Alert doesn't work in 5. So, I erased Firefox 5 and went with Google Chrome, with no alerts either, or at first it did now it won't. Kinda go used to the McAfee alerts to sites that are harmful, with a big red <span style="color: #FF0000">X</span>. What gives??
 
I too updated from 4 to 5 a couple of days ago. I have Norton and also seem to have lost my 'safe wed' alerts and Norton toolbar.

What gives?
 
I had upgraded and lost some of my Norton functionality, so I 'downgraded" back.
 
Mozilla has decided to go out of business. Those of us that support web application will be forced to allow Firefox only at the unsupported but might work level. No vender can spend the time every six weeks verifying a new browser.
