OK, I'm not sure what this thing is? Any ideas?
It's for sale.

With rhd, I'll assume it's a Brit, but the big steel wheels look wrong and are probably from an American car.

The car was at "Wheels of Time" on Rt. 13 in Maryland. The phone number is 349-5074 (I didn't get the telephone area code, but it's about 50 miles north of Salisbury if that helps).

There were many other old neat cars there including a newer, red 4 door Corvair for $1500. Lots of old tractors too.

I was on my way back from a week's vacation in Rehoboth Beach when I saw this so I just pulled over for a moment and didn't get any real details.

Nial, that's an Austin FX3 London Taxi. Built from '48 to '57.
Steel wheels were stock on them, but I don't know if those are originals.
I'd love to get my hands on one.
Jeff

You could hire that out to a limo company!

...after you've half a fortune in it. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

Yeah, but Doc, I'd bet it'd be a fun ride! & not many left either, I'd bet!

Looks like its road trip time again - Michigan to New Jersey's not that bad!
