What's The Recommended Stainless Steel Exhaust for '63 BJ7?

Moss sells their "Tourist Trophy" (not much of a name!) for $625 and Victoria sells the Falcon for $450. Both are pretty cheap (by modern car standards where an SS exhaust can run into many thousands). Are there any other choices I should consider?

My car's exhaust is probably a galvanized mild steel OEM-type also sold by Moss and others and it sounds awesome and looks OK, though dull and flat gray, not polished like SS. It is now showing some rust on the front pipe and since I want to enter a regional concours, was thinking of replacing the exhaust with polished stainless.

Thoughts?

Stay with mild steel. I went with the Tourist Trophy and I am sorry I did. It completely changed the sound of my Tricarb, way to tinny sounding. Thats my two cents.

Cheers,

Jeff

Thanks to you both, and especially to Stretchit because the last thing I want is to lose the beautiful aural qualities of the mild steel exhaust. I have cancelled my order with Moss for the Tourist Trophy and will just have to figure out how to clean up the rusty portion of the front pipe.

If you are entering a concours then the exhaust needs to be painted black or you will lose points. If the judges know what they are looking for.
