What's left before I can roll it out!

Ok, I am getting closer. I have my IRS 95% done. New shocks installed and new brake rotors. Front suspension is nearly done also. What's left to do before I can finally, after 6 years, get it off the jack stands and roll it our of my garage:

1. Rebuild/install rear brake calipers
2. Install emergency brake mechanism on IRS (already detailed/rebuilt)
2. Install new bushings in the two radius arms
3. Install new bearings in Hub Carriers and clean up the carrier housings
4. Install new brake rotors ob front
5. install new bearling in fron hubs
6. Install torsion bars
7. Install old wire wheels/tires (temporary, but I'll be able to roll in out for now)

ORS = Old Red Shoebox?
Why replace the rear hub bearings?? are they bad ?? rusty? They hardly eaver go bad with some grease in them. They can be a pain to change and sometimes exploding the hub carrier when removing. If there is red locktight on the axle shaft, proceed with caution and 400+ degrees of heat. Been there many times and now only change when noisy or loose, (or customer insist). .03MM

Typo - I meant IRS (Independent Rear Suspension. As for the rear hub bearings, I am changing them as a matter of principle. I am doing a total rebuild of the IRS, so I may as well install new bearings while I have the thing apart. However, I am not going to do this job myself. I have a friend who is a Master of Masters Jaguar mechanic and I always farm out the tricky parts to him.

AFter careful consideration, and consulting with jag mechanic friend, I have decided to leave the HUbs alone for now (except for cleaning them up of course).

That's funny - that's my wife's advice too!

I just dropped off my Radius Arms to a Jag-mechanic fried who has the proper tools to press in the new rubber bushings (the BIG one that fastens to the body and the small end that fastens the RA to the IRS).
