I may get roped into replacing the clutch in a friend's ~Geo-Swift~ thingie... arg. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wall.gif

shopping all done, replace taps in bathroom, wife's b'day today and then work on the wiring harness in the zukini(just got a electrical diagnosis manual for it) Doc if your friends swift is an '87 how about you rip the wiring harness out of it for me /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

hmmm... I'm now conflicted. How's about I just wrap the whole thing up and send it to ya? About a dozen First Class stamps oughta do it. Fair warning: it'll still need a clutch if I do. But the harness would come with a FREE car! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

Yeahrrr, well... up and early with the expectation of going to Georgia to do some work since their forecasts were completely wrong about yesterday. Woke up and heard something funny (left the windows open), seems that it was raining. Checked the forecast. Nope, no rain in the forecast. Hmm... checked the weather in Georgia, 700ft ceilings. Nope not going there. SO, I went to Walmart and got Plastikat something for his Christmas morning...and a few quarts of Mobile-1 for the Miata.

Yawn.

Adapt! Good fer you.

That "rain" thing happened over here late Thursday, early yesterday. Completely surprised me.

Plasticat will be happy.

t'aint that rain event. That was advertised for days. We got pounded most of the night through about 7am then it broke clear for half the day, then partly-ed up, then cleared again.

The wind yesterday afternoon and last night was something too. The neighborhood is full of lighted white lawn deer and trees that have toppled over. There are reports of at least one giant Santa and Snowman that have escaped their tethers and have ended up on their backs. Inflatable snowglobes have rolled away.

Chaotic.

This is something different. 'tiz misty and drizzly now.

It isn't a bad thing though. I think it kept the crowds away at the Walmart (for a Saturday morning before Christmas it was pretty empty), where I was wished a "Happy Holiday".

Nobody at Chick-fil-a either when I went for my morning tea-run. Chick-Fil-A wished me a "Merry Christmas". Ya don't hear that too much anymore.

Let's see...its Saturday, December 22nd & I have to buy Jerri a gift after I finish building a "Thomas the Train" play table for Will who's getting his first train set from Santa - priorities, you know!

Let's see, today I got to start enjoying 11 days off from work, and cleaned my car last night to get it ready to trade in on the new car, a 2008 Honda CR-V. Hoping I can pick it up today, but the foglights had to be installed on it, and the service department might not be open today. The wife went shopping at the craft store, so I had time to wrap her gift without it being discovered. Our next door neighbor is headed down south for the winter tomorrow, so if the warmer weather holds out for a short time I can go put the Midget in his garage. Tonight we're meeting some friends to exchange gifts and share a variety of homemade cookies.
