I want to thank all the Nanook of the North BCF members
for finally quitting with all the ice and snow
storm nonsense which sends tremendous wind storms to
us here the Caribbean.

Thanks guys, your cooperation greatly appreciated!!

After four weeks of gale warnings, the ocean is at last
calm enough to go chasing after yellowfin tuna and mahi
mahi. Saturday, crack of dawn, 4 of us are heading out
to Blue water to try our luck. Some nice yellowfin on our
last venture outside.

I may get roped into replacing the clutch in a friend's ~Geo-Swift~ thingie... arg. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wall.gif

Ahh, with all the stress at the office, I will call it a day on Friday and take the next couple weeks off. Since we get 5 weeks of vacation per year plus one optional week, I have to find time to use some of it. Unfortunately not much lbc work, but instead it will be the "summer house" with the extended family.

Why two sets of image tags? I've seen that before, but not sure how its happening? If you use the Image button (popup box) to enter an image, you do not need to add the image tags - it adds them autimagically. You only need to add image tags if you type the image URL directly into the massge. FYI

So THAT'S how computers work! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

(Might as well, as far as I can understand 'em!)

Blargh!!

I know even less about computers than I know about
old car auto mechanics. ie: total idiot!

Those "tags" appear by PFMagic all on their own.
I'm not sure what a "Tag" even IS; let alone how to
install one!!!

Maybe it's like it depends what the meaning of IS is?

Hopefully will be a nice quiet weekend here. If weather is nice I just might clean on Miss Agatha.

Quiet weekend in store. Do the last minute shopping thing and get a few more expensive presents for the girls.
Hug my wife at every chance, and drink a glass or two of vino.
Wishing everyone of you people a very Merry Christmas.

I'm maybe working in Georgia, then cleaning for a quick family visit on the 25th...and packing for 4 days at Disney World with my girlfriend.

Working saturday. Church, then family dinner sunday. That about fills the ticket.
I may get to do some landscaping on the HO train set if there's an extra hour or two. But the basment is pretty clogged up. I may only get to clean in my spare hour.

Housework. It's either Housework or MG work. When my wife is working, MG's. When she is not, housework. Every other Saturday is how this works.

Nice Tuna Dale!

2003 Chevy Malibu front and rear brake job.

2008 Ice Skatingcapades, maybe pass the Hockey Puck around & Barbeque on ice - this weekend if it stays cold enough and doesn't r-a-i-n.

Then...

Drum rolllll please - On vacation till January 2

hmmmmm... busy weekend ahead of me... a possible 'pre-Christmas' on Saturday, which means present wrapping tonight... I get on a plane on Sunday and fly out to Ft. Walton Beach, FL; camp out for the night at 'mi madre's' Shalimar home. Get up nice and early on Monday for a drive down to Tampa to visit my sis for Christmas day... then I get to drive back up to Ft Walton again for more stuff in that area on Wednesday...

Vacation starts this weekend for me (2 weeks ... I come back to the LA area on Jan 5 /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif ), but the start of the vacation is a lot less relaxation than I care for. On the other hand, it IS nice to see family for the Holidays, even if it requires 12+ hours of queue'ing, flying, and driving for it to happen.

Doc- I would be tempted to ask for a peek at the Lotus, the B, and the various bits of "yard art", but the schedule is too jam packed for the time frame that I'll be in that part of FL for me to have a 'get away'.

Jack- Since I'll be in your neck of the woods most of the time, I may ask for a peek at Miss Agatha. There's so few LBCs in that area I think I my suffer with drawls...

Dude.
It's the weekend before Christmas!

There's only one answer for that here in New Jersey.

<span style='font-size: 17pt'> THE MALL!</span> /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

<span style='font-size: 8pt'>OK...right now I am actually putting front pads in the Protege before we go The Mall </span>

I'm likely to be in Miami anyhoo, Rob. dammitall.

Doc,

Is it true that everyone's got a cousin in Miami?
Nial, mall? Isn't that a four letter word?
I drove the TR about 20 miles (each way)to the Victorian
town of Ferndale,& did my Christmas shopping (took 5 min.).
