What's for dinner?

So it's a little past dinner and I am always envious of what y'all get to eat the same night as I decide on a cheese sandwich or a tube steak. Anyway, SWMBO came home from a week of meetings in Nova Scotia with a box of lobster. This is one happy tummy.

a tube steak..

Uhhh, JP, as a friend I feel it's my duty to let you know that phrase has an "alternate" meaning...one that I can't mention here.

Moving right along, home made Pice de Gallo using nothing but fresh stuff from the yard. ( and I had to eat subway later on)

I can eat my weight in lobster. :jealous:

Had to settle for last eve's leftovers...charcoal grill'd bird bits and brown rice with green beans and tomatoes.

I ain't a-hurtin' none.

just saw an interesting recipe for a soup stock that involves lobster shells and corn cobs. that would make a killer chowda!

Your stock is where it's at.

i have yet to try it as i cannot afford the large crustaceans :frown:

Substitue snow or dungenese crab nstead of the large crustacean.

IMO, lobster is WAY over rated. Dungeness is the filet' mignion of the crustacean world. And if ya don't "berl" any of it right, you might as well be eating weather stripping.

Just got back from the Chinese buffet. Down here, they berl local seafood. Nothing like all you can eat crawfish, crab and shimp. Unlike most Chinese places here, this one does seafood RIGHT! I ate about $40 worth of seafood for $8.99. So stuffed I think I'm gonna throw up.
