We're having Homemade Baked Ziti... Penne pasta just barely cooked al-dente (still a bit hard) with homemade sauce - 2 pounds of browned ground beef, 1 jar of ragu (I know that part isn't homemade), 1 can of stewed tomatos, 1 jar of basil infused diced tomatoes, 1 can of tomato paste, 1 can of water, 2 cans of sliced mushrooms, 1 can of black olives, lots of seasonings and love, and simmer for a few hours. Then add fresh shredded parmesian, mix it all together, and then top with fresh shredded mozarella.

Woops I forgot to mention the whole large tub of ricotta cheese that gets mixed in, and the baking it for 30 minutes. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/blush.gif

We grilled some pork sirloin, couple'a baked spuds and some corn & veggie mix... CAB and 'smits' from scratch coleslaw.

Thanksgiving. A friends wife has yet to have t-day in her house so she made plans months ago to have it today for some close friends. I ATE WAY TOO MUCH. Top it off with a bunch of Guinness and I rolled my self home. Ow, I'm bloated!
 
The little lady was out with her friend, so I just threw a couple of potatoes in the oven, charred up a steak on the grill, and washed it down with a Fuller's ESB. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thirsty.gif

A WEEK!!!!!!!! Two meals have done THAT! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek.gif But then again if you talk to SWMBO, nothing new, been useless for years /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif , at least till SHE needs something!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif
