What's for dinner - on the 4th? [and tonight]

Offline
We'll be having a really huge selction of grilled goodness! Ribeyes, Pork Loin, BBQ Pork Ribs, Smoked Boston Butt (in addition to the traditional burgers and brats), and for sides, baked potatoes, baked beans, tater salad, macaroni salad, grilled buttery corn on the cob, and several different pies for desert.

Tonight (the 3rd), we're having breaded pan-fried calf liver, with sauted onions and mushrooms, and boiled buttered white hominey. Homemade guinness ice cream for desert, and C.A.B. for me and Pepsi for her to help wash it all down.

What are you having? Tonight and on the 4th!?

Tonight: fresh butter beans, fresh fried okra, fresh creamed corn, mashed potatoes, homemade cornbread, fresh tomatoes.....watermelon for desert.

Don't know about tomorrow but it'll certainly include BBQ.

Jeani's B-day today. I had the Veal Milanese and she had Chilean Sea Bass. 2 Merlot and a happy belly.

~Tonight~Smothered Pork Chops (covered with sweet peppers, onions, lemon slices and a sweet/sour sauce). Amazing

~Tomorrow~Grilled food...hamburgers, etc. And Smithwicks! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

~This weekend~We'll be at the Pittburgh Vintage Grand Prix and the annual VRG Luau. I'll be wearing my "loudest" Hawaiian shirt.

Not kids to worry about tonight – because the son is hanging out with his friends (Transformers movie) and the ex has the girls back east visiting her relatives near Pittsburgh PA.

So I think I’m going down to the local club to see if I can’t find some gal to polish buckles with me.

Tomorrow a bunch of Porsche folks are meeting at the Qualcomm stadium (I think)n for an Autocross. Think I’ll check that out with my son, unless he ditches me again.

Oohh! Ya gonna dance with the shark?

I didn’t find out about the autox until it was too late to sign up. Got a message that one of the 928 folks are getting together tonight for some tall tails & lies over dinner and some liquid libations.

Wendy's in Colorado visiting with friends.
I just got back from all day fishing
trip with friends. Cold roasted whole
chicken from the grocery store, canned corn,
peas and iced tea.
