Oh my! Currently I am reading Ray Bradbury's second mystery novel A Graveyard for Lunatics, Dune: Chapterhouse, Tolkien's Unfinshed Tales, Six Frigates (about the founding of the US Navy during the revolution), and I just finished Neptune's Inferno, about the naval campaign at Guadalcanal. That's what's I'm reading for fun.
For my thesis I'm knee deep in Adobe Walls, which is about the battle and the opening of the Red River War. The Indian Trial, about the trial of Satanta, one of the principal Kiowa chiefs. Three of Robert M. Utley's works, Indian Wars, Geronimo, and The Indian Frontier of the American West. And, lastly, The Comanche Empire.
