Good and Bad this weekend, the bad is visiting with a WWII
Merchant Mariner who has a form of leukemia thats basicly
untreatable, He had 3 ships shot out from under him in the
Pacific theatre, but managed to survive.

The good will be my Mothers 70th birthday party, We'll get to
see some people we haven't seen in 20+ years...

Picking up the buyer for my motorcycle at the airport Saturday (he's riding it back to Kansas), Sunday I've got a gig, Monday is for relaxing.

Should have time to do some Bugeye work in there as well, and might shop around for an air compressor while I'm in the city.

Spent today cutting/trimming the yard & getting the last orders packed & in FEDEX.

Tomorrow, pack suitcases, drop by Books-a-Million to pick up a couple of books for the flights to/from Germany, get haicut, run by bodyshop to see TD for last time before trip.

Sunday, fly to Frankfurt, Germany.

Monday, drive to Weiden in der Oberpfalz, Germany - crash & sleep off jet lag! Later in evening get a good German meal & beer!!!

I have ~every intention~ of making a dent in the chaos in the hovel...

"Oh, Princess? Fetch me another beer!"

*OUCH!*

Car show Saturday; church and neighborhood cookout Sunday; new trunk carpet in the MGB on Monday; a little yard work sprinkled in here and there; might change the tranny oil in the MGB also.

Should be fun if the weather doesn't go pear shaped.
I'll get pics.

I may see you in Champaign on Saturday then....but it ALWAYS rains for the CBCF! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif I believe there's only been two or three years of complete sun! It even snowed one year....but....it was ALWAYS fun!

Work half day Saturday, then come home and try to finish the patio as the new driveway has to get put in so all these cars can park at home. May try to find time for a little wine.

Saturday will be working around the house. It seems I never get caught up.

Sunday we will be attending my grandson's birthday party in Blacksburg. That will be an all day event.

Monday the VFW post is doing a couple of events. I am on the honor guard and will probably take part in those.

What I will not be doing is riding my TR. I am having it painted and the guy is about a month behind. I was supposed to have it back by the end of May and he is barley started. My wife wonders why I have been in such a bad mood lately.

Oh well, Pete

Saturday cooking for my in-laws and then the church run.

Sunday, perhaps a drive to Madrid - just Agatha and I.

Monday, perhaps a drive to Santa Fe and the market - just Onslow and I

and as I don't have a job - taking the in-laws to a day of fun at the local casino to celebrate mother-in-law's 84th Birthday. Gave her some 'cash' and will treat for the buffet.

I'm a work widow until Thursday, when hubby comes home.

Not terribly exciting, but definitely relaxing - at least Sunday and Monday.

Enjoy your weekend folks and to you, GREAT LEADER, work, work, work on that Jag. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cheers.gif

From the looks of things, I'm just going to sit here and watch it rain. Beautiful all week, and today it's raining buckets!

Buried my favorite cat thismorning, a long day of rest today. Tonight, grilling for my wife and I. Tomorrow, all day on the boat out fishing and enjoying the river. Monday, back at work, but do as little work as possible (the manager prefers we grill and enjoy the day since we don't have it off).

I'll spend most of the weekend at a neighbor's place (just came home for lunch) - his illness is preventing him from maintaining the property so I figure I'll help out. Daughter & Son-in-law coming Monday for a cookout. I'll also change the oil in all the small engines - mowers, snowblower, etc.

The fun never ends!

Working today, Supercar Sunday tomorrow. Malibu All-British Memorial Day Run on Monday. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
