If this was in your driveway?

Not the sleek and sexy Stag, you fool!

She'd say put it in the garage. Now.

Oh and her favourite quote - "Don't make a mess when you fix it"

I wish it were in my driveway.
Although, I did pass on the free TR4 that was only 25 miles from the house.

My wife was very happy that the Mercury Capri (which has a few dents) was placed behind the Miata outside when all the guests came over for Thanksgiving.

She was even happier when I told her that I was going to store it at my friend's rally track (where it will be used.)

Not so happy that I'm going to look at two more cars this week!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Gee, being as it is getting to the holidays, it reminds me of the old ditty " Hark! the herald axles swing....."

I'm more worried about what my lawyer would be saying after he finished talking to hers.

I hope you have the good sense to get her something nice for a Christmas present. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Mine would find out BEFORE HAND that it was going to end up in the driveway and issue a cease and desist order immediatly.

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gifHehe, you guys are funny. I pushed it in the garage last night. I had to unload the thing from the trailer to make room for a Stag I'm haulin' to Texas in a couple weeks... Poor little car may get lucky and spend the winter inside. I do know where the rest of the parts are! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Having lurked for a while, decided I would join in since I know EXACTLY what my wife would say /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

YOU ALREADY HAVE A HERALD YOU DO NOT NEED ANOUTHER! And get the car parts out of the house... you promised......

My Herald ('70 13/60 convertible) has all of the body attached, however it is currently missing the motor. With any luck I will find the time to rebuild it soon.

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gifI made a promise to my wife when we bought the house, no car parts/stuff or anything related will be in the house period! This coming from a guy who had his dining room packed with tools and car parts, and had half a Mustang on his back porch... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

My wife would probably say that it's a big improvement over what's sitting in our driveway now...a rusty shell of a '70 MGB! I needed the axle and a fender off of it. It's pined full of rusty bits I cut from my '69 B that I'm restoring. Anybody need a '70 MGB yard sculpture? Cheap?!

I affectionately refer to it as British Lawn Art(tm), or just BLA(tm)!

How about calling it BLart
