What Would You Buy

It should be empty. Must be the old car guy in me...don't throw anything away.
If it's the same guy, you probably watched him race Minis years ago. The shop hasn't changed.
I hadn't thought about a Cortina. Interesting. Just saw pictures the other night of Jim Clark taking one through a turn. It was obscene how he could drive them.

Go buy that silver TR8 that I posted on another thread and you can close this one out.

I was never a TR-8 lover until I drove (a nicely sorted) one it was love at first sight!

Really a fun car to drive. However, for some it does not have that LBC "look" like the older models. And for pricing, it seems to me that the pricing is already going nuts. I've seen some nice examples for well over $20K.

Drive one, I guarantee you'll feel differently about them.

I just hope the values don't rise too quickly, I wanna get one!

I've been watching the 8. If I were to buy it, I would have two Tempe cars. What are the chances of that?
My TR6 was a dream to restore. Shiny paint still on the frame and no rusty fasteners. Unheard of in PA. Black widows in the transmission tunnel...also unheard of.
Space is a major concern, so most US cars don't enter the picture. Bugatti Royales are out of the question. :smirk:
