I wanted to get a scissor lift for my home garage,

I figure I have the room for it ,
they are portable if I want to move it outside on a sunny day,
and I can park over it so I do not lose a parking space,

But what do I need to look at ?

are the Ebay ones about $1000 (chinese probably) any good ?

is there a website to look for used ones other than ebay ?

Thanks for your help

Beaulieu

I haven't owned a scissor lift personally, but with any lifting device I look for maximum quality. Chinese products are typically made from cheap steel and use off-brand hydraulics / electrics which will be difficult to obtain replacement parts for should you need them.

It doesn't include scissor lifts, but in case it helps any I wrote a basic guide to auto lifts here: https://www.mgnuts.com/mg/autolifts/

I LOVE my Bend-Pak its a great mid-rise scissor lift.

I have a Bend-Pak 4 post lift and their customer service and lift are both top notch IMO.

Hi...

I found a used one for $1000 that was in a private garage and had little use,

thanks
