To revisit a long ago thread on what to bring with you on a road trip; one of my friends bought a car on ebay in PA. bought me a plane ticket to pick up the car and drive to OR. Car runs great, only had a broken fan belt in Joplin MO. As usual, all i had with me was a cell phone and bottles of H20. Nice people in Joplin directed me to nearby O'Reilly's and they set me up to replace the fan belts. Back on the road. Oh, driving a jeep cross country instead of an LBC. No AC.
