What size and brand tires work for my Sprite? Where can I find them? I think 13 inch tires may be getting a little hard to find.

155/80/13 is about as big as you can go. Search for that size and you will find all sorts of sources. Look for as low a UTOQ treadwear rating as you can find. You don’t want a 50 or 60 k mileage tire. They are too hard. Pirelli has just reissued their Cintauri ? Spelling. Nice tire but big $. Walmart you can find 4 for less than $200

Thanks Jim. I'm not really interested in big or certainly not expensive. I think I'm a little "mature" to need high performance anything anymore.

Well my maturity level as well as disposable income changed after retiring a month ago.

Getting decent 13" tires in this country has become a impossibility. I have two nearly identical cars. One with Falken tires from ten years ago and one that I just fitted Achilles tires to. No comparison in the ride and handling the Falken's are soooo much better. Of course they are not sold in this country anymore in 13"!

The Lotus guys are getting tires shipped over from England and I'm thinking of doing the same. They can still get decent 13" such as Yokohama's and my Falken's.

Last year I put Kumo Solus 175-70 om my BE. Fit was good on 5" alloy rims. No clearance problems. They were Tire Rack and about $60.
Great tread pattern
