Hi,

Getting my rebuilt engine back up again and wonder, what spark plugs do most of you use? I always used the Champion N12Y I think. I have a Richard Good S2 Cam, higher compression, and overbore .030. I have SU HS 6's as well.

I've tried Champion RN9YC, but they needed a real lean mixture to burn clean so I went back to tried and true Champion RN12YC.
I never had a problem with fouling with the 12's even before the engine overhaul when I was using a quart of oil per 400 miles.
I'd still be using them but I experimented with NGK BUR5ET and liked them. I can't say they are any better than the Champion 12's, just a little different in design.
