I've heard of folks usiing adjustable reamers for kingpins. What size will I need?

There is a bit more to know about the specific style of adjustable reamer.
Just to answer your question, if it’s a disc brake swivel axle the upper bushing size is 5/8” and the lower one 25/32”.
If it’s a drum brake swivel axle, the upper is 5/8” and the lower is 11/16”
Some retailers offer a fixed size reamer incorporating both diameters for one or the other style of swivel axle, however the fit is a bit loose in my opinion.

I like to do 'em with adjustables. But be warned: micrometers and a method to align the ream axially with the opposite bush are a MUST with this.

I've been looking at adjustable sets but none have a centering cone. Any idea who would be a good sourse for them.

Yes, disc brake spindles.

FWIW and YMMV- I purchased both standard reamers. Then made bushings for the reamer shank to pilot for the second reamer. IIRC i reamed the 25/32 bottom bushing first and then used a bushing to guide the 5/8 reamer from the shank end. could have been the other way round.... of course aligning the first one is critical and needs to be done carefully. At least this way i was able to use standard reamers and nit the ridiculously priced step reamer.

FWIW: I did mine exactly like SilentUnicorn. At first I called around several shops thinking someone would have the custom reamer - but no luck. Not wanting to spend $300 for the custom reamer, I purchased a couple standard reamers from J&L/MSC and made my own alignment bushings. Easy to to if when you have a lathe in the shop.
