I am attempting to find a correct replacement VIN plate for my 1954 Austin Healey, but I am not even sure what it is supposed to look like. Ever car i look at online, especially on ebay, seems to have a different type of tag. The tag i am looking for is the one that mounts to the passenger side of the firewall. Also, where should i purchase the tag?

Thanks
Chris

Hi Chris, depending on what your Vin Number is and when the car was built in 1954, the vin plate could have been the plastic or metal version mounted to the drivers side outboard footwell panel. If you send me, in a private message, the vin number I can send you a photo of the appropriate tag and let you know where & how to purchase.
