Mine does too. He can usually be found on top of the dryer, or on his little shelf I put up for him by the south acing laundry room window.
 
Lucy's trying to beat the heat. We're getting 90°+ temps now. She alternates spots from tile flooring, to park bench and table top. Only wants the couch or beds overnight if the temp drops below 80.
