Two movies that Alfred Hitchcock made, the Birds and It takes a thief, has British car's driven by the leading actress, they appears to be a Healey of some type. Does anyone know what type of car it is.

Okay now that we're on the topic of movies! Hey that's a Healey 3000 in the final closing of "On the Beach" with Gregory Peck and Fred Astair. There's also a great road race featuring lots of British exotics. Fred Astair chooses a very interesting way to go out in style.

Anyone out there seen this movie? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif GONZO

Yes, great movie. The coke bottle transmission, the road race. Won't spoil it for those who haven't, everyone should.

I've seen Healeys in lots of films, but can't recall any titles now. Might be an idea to develop a list to post somewhere.
