This is from under the dash of my 73 TR-6. I have no idea what it is or what it connects to. It has a bracket and can turn. Any ideas?

If it were connected to the speedo, you could reset the tripmeter with it.

I'm with Ken. But, my Mk I Stag uses a similar contraption to set the clock.

Being the TR6 isn't as sophisticated as a Stag
No clock

Exactly, a trip odo cable. By the way, turn it counter clockwise to reset it.
