My daughters VFX class they are doing modeling and the project had to be a car.
She picked an older one and half way thru the instructor tells her that the old cars are the hardest for beginners because of all the curves.
It was to late to change so she plugged on.
She has finished the body and won't show me but she did send me a tire and wheel she did.
Bonus if you can guess the car.
I suggested a Birdcage Tipo61-63 but she couldn't find good enough plans
So what's your guess

Cobra?

Is my check in the mail?

Dang
You peaked
Well Don I hope I haven't reached my high point yet, but I did in fact peek :rolleye:

So you're saying the only thing I'm getting is a Reality Check.... darn.

Actually, I was going to guess Cobra because the wheels look just like the Halibrands that came on the Cobras.

Don, if I may suggest, have her go over the knockoff again. It isn't at 120. I mention this only as I'm sure it's for a grade.

Question, why did she choose a Cobra? That would seem to be an unusual choice for a young woman.

Billy- The pic Art shows they don't look like they are 120 Looks like the bottom 2 are wider.
Thoughts
She also said
"WHY didn't you show me the pic of the wheel sooner?"

Thanks Art

She is a sports car freak
If it is exotic and expensive

She was going off low res jpg of plans from the interweb

Another thing.
Right after she started this she called me frantically saying she has a problem.
When she overlays the front on to the back the wheels don't line up
Is the drawing wrong and do they have the wheels to wide on the drawing?

Pretty funny

Well...here is the finished product
after 48 hours of no sleep.
Ah...the college life

Wow... that is outstanding!! She should be very proud of her hard work.
Congrats to her and mom and dad too!

Very neat. Lots of work, too.

The 427 CS version had the exhaust dump right at the point the tube exits the coachwork. One BIG pipe. Loud and would blow yer clothing against yer body like a gale force wind.
