Before:
I had rough idle that was not stable below 1000rpm.
The car had tonnes of power (according to the buttometer).
My gas mileage was abysmal.
My vacuum signal was very stable at idle, a little bouncy on acceleration and cruise, but it would settle to stable signal over time.
My BPR6ES plugs had some white deposits on them, especially number 4.
What I did:
I ran some Sea Foam through the intake.
I replaced the plugs with new BPR8ES (the local brick and mortar did not have NGK BPR7ES on hand).
Now:
I have smooth and stable idle down to 750 rpm.
The engine seems to run smoother through out the range.
The engine seems much louder.
The engine seems less powerful.
My vacuum signal is unstable through out the range.
I have not driven it enough to know whether my mileage has changed.
