What happened to Spring?

After a nice 50F degree weekend, we woke to 2" of snow yesterday that eventually melted during the day.

Now it's low 30s, snowing again with 6-10" of wet snow predicted throughout the night. They even started the "storm music" on the local TV channel updates. Geesch.

Oh well, might as well take something else apart and rebuild it.

TR content:
I just pressed in the new silent block bushings into the center steering link for the 3A. Good thing I took a lot of pictures before I took it apart because I was sure I had it right until I checked the pics and saw I had it upside down and reversed. Moral is: Take a lot of pictures and look at them before reassembly. Lucky for me I did.

Now I am just waiting for the snow to go away so I can push the 3A back outside to pressure wash front suspension and put it all back together.

We have a little snow in the air here today also along with strong gusty wind. I dislike the wind more than the cold and snow.

Hope your weather gets better, it looks like I might be out there on business later this month. Sunny and 70's would be good if you can arrange it! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Ask Kodanja..........Mr. Optimistic after one warm day in early March.

A nice post about it and BOOM....there goes spring time!!!

Peter, it's now 35 degrees in RI and the sleet is coming down. Good thing too, with Easter just around the corner!! Another long weekend headed for the indoor activity schedule.

No kidding....

Put the summer tires on the Mini last weekend, and look at it outside!

Oh well - the TR is off the road for a couple of weeks so no missed opportunities there.

Rob.

Is that an obelisk on your front lawn or a giant TR 250 shifter monument?

Its the "monument" in Monument Square, Concord. I think the pointy end is what the Minute Men threatend the Red Coats with. Or something like that.

Rob.

Hmmmm. Nice wooden shifter knob would look good up there.

Call the MIT prank boys. Heck, they might put an entire car up there.

So we're only about 40 miles apart. Hope to see you and your car at some of the summer events this year.

28 here in Wisconsin today. We had a few snow flakes during the night.

I've been busy auditing swap meet registrations for our July car show...and booking invitations for the 'Blue Ribbon' area of the show, too. At least I can THINK about warm, July weather!

Speaking of winter, we have 12" on the ground (and cars, and roofs, etc. ) and is is still snowing!

New prediction is 12-18" Y U K !
