Hmmmmm, at first I thought someone was taking a Taxi! Wrong. a misspelled word? Don't know. Foreign word? Possible. But, then I figured it out. Confused At Best. Of course, that's just my definition, which means, I'm still confused. but, just not into this, what I call, Texting talk. We still use the hand crank telephones around here. PJ

Think "Cheap *** Beer" (or "Cheap *** Buzz" if you prefer). Beverage of choice for some of our more refined members :cowboy:

Closest I could get was "cans - a - beer" (you have to understand that I'm thinking/operating with a New England accent...)

I'm wicked glad thats cleared up

No, that's swill.
Worst is Molson's, next is Labatt's.
It's what they drain out of the swill tanks up in the great white north.
Whatreya, new?

That poor man. So used to American beer that he doesn't even know what real beer tastes like. Kind of like the fellow who thinks McDonalds is real food. :jester:

Oh.......did that stuff up in Victoria one year......my observation stands.....

to which one needs to add, if all you've ever had was swill, you might just think it's wonderful....until you try something else....

Me thinks we have an international event brewing

In case you never thought about it, molson is the sound you make as you prepare to lablatt in the throne.

Cheap Arse Beer. I have a label around here someplace...

I agree beer from the great white north is the best,I guess the yanks just can't drink our strong beer.Give me a good cold one on a hot day.Well maybe 2 will go down good and I'm not really a beer drinker

Wouldn't do any good. They wouldn't know good beer anyway...they drink Bud in DC when they're not smoking it.

I've tried a lot over the decades, during my travels. I suppose number three on the list would be (New)Castle Brown Ale. The Limeys called it Castle Brown, the new ads are for Nwecastle Brown....but the logo....the guys in Faslane used to always tell me the insane wards in the mining districts where that stuff was a big seller had that logo over each door.
I don't drink any of it anymore. Poured the last of the Guiness out early this year.
Cabernet works for me....so does "Hearty Burgundy" for a table wine.

But the worst, from all over the world, by far, was the combination of Molson's and Labatt's.

Lotsa good stuff locally brewed here and I don't like "American beer".

Can't beat Abita and for you stout guys, grab a Turbodog.

Local microbrews have ruined me forever. next in line are regional brews, available over larger areas. Magic Hat, Saranac, Ithaca...GOOD stuff! Then probably Yuingling.
In the world of cab, I can handle Old Swill,I mean Mil, Rolling Rock, Genesee (Not the cream ale) and Labatts Blue.
I got a saying about American beer, but it's a bit over for this forum.
