Car sat for many years got it started engine ran ok. Tried to start today and wouldn't start now all I get is a click when I turn the Key. Fuel pump and lights work. were do I start?

Jump start?
 
Crappy electrical connections. Get rid of the green stuff on all of the contacts.
 
Sounds like a low battery. Enough juice for lights and fuel pump, not enough for the starter.
 
Low battery or bad connecters/grounds.
