I don't know why Sam doesn't just move into the garage and keep the cars in the house. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif A little motorized lift where the staircase is and he'd be all set... why don't you mention it to the wife Sam?? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

One of the couples in our local region of the Classic Car Club of America (and friends of mine) live in an old mansion in South Seattle -- there is a garage under the house, and it has an elevator to bring cars into the house for viewing at parties. He has some wonderful British cars, including a 1930 Bentley LeMans Tourer, E-Type, 1939 Atalanta, as well as a Springfield-built '27 Rolls Royce Brewster Tourer and a supercharged Cord 812 Sportsman. If I had those cars, I'd show them in the house too!
As for my wife, a few weeks ago she strongly suggested that I sell some of the cars. The Miata (which she hated driving) and the 944 (which my mechanic friends were concerned was a time-bomb) both are gone. The '89 Corvette is next, as soon as I fix the windshield.
