What Are You Listening To? - July (ALREADY?)

Sirius XM satellite radio. Came as a three month freebee with the new car. I have never subscribed, partly because I am cheap and partly because I find the playlists short but also because I still like radio. Radio connects me to the community I am in whereas Sirius can literally be anywhere on the planet. Anyhow, for now I have a few channels bookmarked that I was cycling through as I drove including

70's on 7
80's on 8
90's on 9

Now being a guy (and the only one in the car) I don't need to know what's on, I need to know what else is on so, constantly changing channels.

On 70's at seven they played 'I want you back' - 11 year old Michael Jackson. On the 80's and the 90's at the same time were also playing Michael Jackson tunes - a very quick reminder of the span of his musical career.

But, the whole thing is a bit odd to only hear a decade at a time. AND even that was not as weird as realizing that as I was listening to 90's music (much more a fan of 70's & 80's) As I was listening to 90's music I was listening to music that in some cases was 30+ years old. yikes!

For me at the moment its this, after the daughter being cast as Eponine in Les Miserables, she has now been cast as Morticia in The Adams Family.
Rehersals for both shows ongoing, she is also taking part in a show called Back To The 80's at her school, but she has taken a back seat on this show to give the younger ones a shot. so the house is full of these musical theatre numbers.
