We have a few different "What are you listening to" threads, but they are growing too big,. Decided to start a monthly WAYLT thread. This one is for December.

What I'm listening to this morning:

OK, Mac. We need to impose a moratorium on the highbrow stuff on this forum. One can hope, though, that Mahler's marriage to Alma Mahler Gropius Werfel served to project some low brow in his direction. Tom Lehrer wrote a good song on reading her obituary, calling it the spiciest obit it had ever been his pleasure to read. As for my listening, I am now going to Blind Faith Can't Find My Way Home.

That sent me down a rabbit hole to: Alma.

Highbrow, lowbrow - Whatever you like, enjoy it.

Thought I'd listen to some "highbrow-lowbrow" while cobbling up a tomato and onion omelette -

That brings tears to my eyes.

Jackson's studio (Groove Masters) is nine blocks from me. On rare occasions, I've heard rehearsals as I drive by.
He's still alive?!

I enjoy the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra.
