What are the correct damper p/ns for HD8 carbs?

I just noticed that I have two different length dampers in my carbs. Now I know why I have occasionally been getting a single backfire when I ease on the throttle.
The damper that appears correct is labeled " AUC8112 " and has a vented black plastic cap/nut. The wrong one ( 1/8 inch shorter ) is labeled " AUC8114 " and also has a black plastic cap/nut that is vented.
Since one of them is wrong, I now am wondering if either are correct. Is " AUC8112 " the correct one to use for a HD8 carb on a 65 BJ8 ?
Thanks,
Ed
