Just when you think it's safe...

Brought the Spider home from it's winter hibernation "cave" yesterday. Lovely spring day here in the top of Utah - about 60 degrees and nice sunshine.

Get up this morning, and at 7:00 it's 55 degrees and breezy out of the south. Not a good sign. By 8:00, front comes through, drops the temp to the high 30s, and the snow hits. Forecast for this week is highs no better than mid 40s, and off and on rain and snow. I guess the Spider just gets to hibernate at home now instead of someplace else.

We can't seem to get rid of winter here in Calgary either, it just keeps snowing!

I have a suspicion that we're going to have record snowfall amounts for the month of March, as it seems like it has snowed almost constantly all month.

I really don't mind snow that much, but I am definitely ready for spring... Oops, spring is here already :cooler: I just mean that I'm ready for spring-like weather....

FYI...what spring looks like...

Spring, is way late here. The trees are just now coming out and the first LL games start Wed.

Terri, our spring looks just like that -- our trees are white too. Of course, it's snow...

Friday and Saturday I was playing at Deer Valley (ski resort) in the afternoons. We were out on the deck in the sun. Saturday was quite warm. Sunday we did the same show, but inside due to the near white-out outside. Springtime in the mountains. Suckers us in every time.

I've bought most of my motorcycles in March. Those first few warm days always get the riders thinking of new rides. Then the new bike has to sit in the garage while there's snow on the ground. 'taint right!

Thats because the inconvenient truth is that it's not global warming coming next on the weather front. I'd start making spiked tires for year round ice driving if I were you.

There was an article in the syndicated paper about the Argentinian penguins on the hot beach.

Way it was written was sympathetic to the plight of the penguins due to global warming.....

Good pictures of the beach, but got me thinking that is the SOUTHERN Hemisphere.... Seasons are opposite of ours.. So beach should be barren.. Just the penguins got misplaced a few decades ago and settled into an environment that they are not suited for...

Here's what spring looks like to me :cryin:

Oh, man--that just shows me how soft I've become after living in California for the past 30 years. Not sure I could handle that now.

Mid-70s and pleasant today in S. Cal. Orange trees are blooming everywhere, with bees and hummingbirds enjoying them. I took Ruby Redcar out for a spin, just an hour or so.
