No, really... right above my right shoulder blade. Arrrrrgggg.
Sittin here like a statue on my couch trying not to move the wrong way. Off of work, lookin out the window at all the snow that I should be plowin, thinkin of the jobs to be done at work....
I was just standin there, and the muscle started to tighten up, and within 15 minutes I looked like the Frankenstien monster.
Stupid....
Goin to the doctors at 2:45. hopefully get some good anti-hurt candy. I got too much to get done.
Glad I got this old laptop runnin. otherwise I'd be stuck watchin soaps. Blarrrffff.

Also got an appointment with a neck-cracker on monday. hope that helps too.
Man this stinks.

We're not getting any younger!

I had this and the doc thinks in the mouse.

sounds like a trip to the hot tub...

A good chiropractor should be able to "unpinch" the nerve!! The older I get the more I like those guys!!

I've always heard horror stories about them so I stay away. As much as I creak and crack, I just live with it.

I'd also recommend a cat scan if it's a reccurring injury.make sure there's no disc damage.

Sorry Banj. Sounds like a familiar-type
story. Like real familiar-type. Anti-inflammatories
was an addition to the drugs my doctor
recommended. Over the counter works. Doc says it is
the combination of relaxing the muscles and reducing
inflammation to promote healing.

Combo worked for me. Advil. I'm average size.
Doctor recommended 600 mg.

Disclaimer: Not medical advice. Just sharing what worked for me.

Other docs have not shared this 1-2 knock-out punch.
Some have said: Well, yeah, that's cool, just another
pain relief medicine.

I clearly experienced better result with the
combo: muscle relax and antiinflamm.

Hope it is not a nerve. Feel better, Banj.

Yo Ben,
My Doc started me yesterday on the Celebrex and some Flexi...? for some bad head ache pain
I've been having. That combo scrambled my brain something terrible. I didn't take it this
morning because I had to drive over to get an MRI taken of the noggin.

Be really careful with that combo. Maybe I was overly effected because I don't drink alcohol
and my body is not used to those kinda things? But be careful driving and using ?

Oh man oh man!!! scared to death now.
The MRI folks just this instant called and want me to pick up the images and get to my doctor ASAP!

Wish me lick- I'm outta here.
BLA%RGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel your pain Banjo:
I`v been living with rheumatoid arthritis sence I was eight years old. Alieve is primarily Naproxen, Naproxen belongs to a class of drugs called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Very good to reduce inflamation and relieve pain. BUT ........ see a doctor! Find out what the underlying cause of your discomfort is. As a child I was prescribed just plain ole asprin for my condition {All of these anti-inflamatory drugs did not exist back then.} If you choose to use compresses, believe it or not cold rather than hot is more effective to relieve inflamation.
Get better soon!
Kerry

Hope all is well for both.

Dale, keep us posted. Will be thinking about you...
