That was a different time back then...

Now ladies who race cars isn't uncommon, this past weekend out of about 15 cars (our local vintage racing club) two of the drivers were female, with one of them a regular driver of a rather muscular and very fast Dodge Challenger... :thumbsup:

This car here.. It eats all the MG's in the club for lunch... :devilgrin:

Nice, doubly so because she lived her whole life - many daredevils of that era didn't. (she also survived the villages - anyone want to take a guess at the epidemic ravaging it? :smile: )
 
Some of the worlds best stunt fliers are woman! Their concentration is mainly on perfection, not showmanship. Some of the best flight students I ever had were woman. I didn't know her personally, but Betty Skelton Erde was a pioneer in the field of woman in aviation and from past interviews, appeared to be a very nice lady. PJ
