what a great idea!

Not. This is tied into the last rant we got on.

yep - scary isn't it. Another "hook" which leads to trouble later on.

"Train Wreck"

"Oh yeaaaah yeaaah
We're heading for a train wreck

They say to be careful what you wish
What you want and what do you need
Second thoughts have got me thinking over
Maybe we're in too deep

Whatever we do
Better think it through
'Cause we're moving too fast

Heading for a train wreck
When it feels this good,
Gotta hurt so bad

This just can't last
Heading for a train wreck"

We outsourced huge numbers of manufacturing jobs to China. China building huge and growing financial surplus, US building huge and growing financial deficit. China in building boom, US in housing crunch. Can't wait for the tax rebate checks so all will be fixed.

Tax rebate checks - the "simple fix". I think that was tried in the late 1970s. If I remember, I got a $50 check.

Didn't fix anything.

Altho' I figure most BCF folks don't need to worry 'bout all this mortgage and debt mess (I sure hope!), at least we can pass along our thoughts to folks we meet.

ah, lets spend $1000 out of our retirement now, so we won't have that extra $100,000 when we retire. Who needs money anyway :smirk:

Like my nieces boyfriend said to me yesterday, He can't wait to get that "rebate check" so he can add some money to it and pay his current taxes!!!

A fool & his money are soon parted!

401K? We don`t need no stinking 401K!
Hint: The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948)

found the lost dutchman's gold?

Actualy, the Mexicans thought the burros and the gear were the value, they let the wind blow the gold away.
In the end, they lost even lost thier lives.

If you think about it, it`s pretty much a parody.

{Simon Dentith), defines parody as "any cultural practice which provides a relatively polemical allusive imitation of another cultural production or practice."

I dun know, maybe just my warped way of thinking here.
