What a great day!

After cutting back what seemed like a zillion feet of overgrown privet, I felt the blue skies and fall color calling.

Like a guy on a diet, dreaming of a pork chop hanging over him and hearing it say "you want me ... you need me".

So I took TeeYah out on a *great* drive around our southern New England woods.

Nice.

Wow !! Green grass this time of year?
I thought you "nearly arctic" folks got snow
covered September thru March.

Glad you had a nice drive.

Yeah...the northeast is lovely this time of year. I've driven the MGB to work almost every day in the last two weeks and the top's been down for at least that long.

And lots of other are out there too.

We saw four MGBs in the Chester (NJ) area last weekend. Also two red TDs, two Ferrari 355s, a newish Aston-Martin Vantage (top down), two newish Bentley convertibles (both top down), a TR6.
I also have two other "new" MGBs in my parking lot at work lately.

Here's mine near our lake house in NW-NJ taken last weekend.

Looked like beautiful weather...only the top is up?

Did you, like Jim Jackson, hear the voice of a pork chop say, "Come unto me and rest"?

Yes, the are.

That's the public boat-launch to our lake (I never really thought about it.....they *are* a good idea)

And since I know that Tom "works" at Sturbridge Village, here's a picture I took in front of Waterloo Village (a sort of similar place) about two hours ago).
The weather here is *perfect* today.

Hurricane Omar dissing us a bit.

Doppler radar indicated a hole in one of the rain bands.

I scooted the Crypt Car out for a 1/2 hour test drive
before the sky opened up again with more deluge.

Not a "test" drive, D@MMIT!!! You took a 1/2 hour drive!

Adjectives are good.

Just don't dangle any participles... :jester:

Sucks here

Well Don!!

You DO live in Seattle and the weather has always
sucked there.

I sincerely hope you are not just now discovering
this fact!

Dale: have you been out in that Caribbean sun too long? Don't you remember the 4 seasons here in PA. It is magnificent this year with blazing colors. AND our grass is always green and soft unlike that brown stuff that is grown in the south.

Still autumn here in hinterland (a.k.a. southern Alberta), some photos from ten days ago when the local vintage sports car club went out for the annual fall drive...
