Was driving home from church yesterday and got passed by a lovely big Olds. Next intersection the guy drives by again and the trunk is popped open. Next light, owner jumps out and attempts to close lid - latch is "engaged" reaches into trunk pulls out permanently attached plan B - bungee cord - too loose. Back into car to pop remote and disengage latch - close trunk successfully - all while light is red.

I felt for the guy but mostly chuckled at the times I have had to effect a repair or an adjustment during a red light

lots of nice cars out there yesterday.

That's the good thing about pick-ups, you never have to worry about the trunk popping open.

Walter: I had a tailgate fall off a rusty Chevy pickup one time! :highly_amused:

Hmm, you have there Nial. Being a rusty Chevy though I doubt anyone prayed it any heed.
