Deadline to sign up is Sept 10th. Please do not wait till last minute as we have 11 rooms held and if we need more we need to know sooner than later.

The McLaren Car Club overnight drive to Mammoth will be a classic road tour event. The group will leave Tracy, CA for a short drive to Railtown USA to see steam trains and be able to socialize with each other. After exploring engines of the past, the group will complete the first of two drive sections, heading to Lee Vining for lunch. There will be a quick stop on the way to lunch to see Mono Lake and the Tuffa Rocks.

After lunch, the group will head off for the second driving section. This section will be one of the more “epic” style drives as the scenery is amazing. The drive will conclude in Mammoth, CA, where participants can either relax or, if feeling adventures, head to the Devils Postpile, which is one of a few places in the world to see this specific geological formation.

Dinner will be at the Whitebark Restaurant & Lounge in the Westin Hotel. After dinner, participants are welcome to stay and mingle in the lounge area to share stories and past adventures.

Sunday morning the group will depart for the famous HWY 120. On the way, we will take the scenic drive around June Lake in order to reach the gates of Yosemite.

There will be two planned stops while in the park. The first is along Tenaya Lake for a caravan photo, and shortly after at Olmsted Point for views of Half Dome. Additional stops may be made as space and time allows. The end stop for the day will be lunch at the famous Ahwahnee Hotel. After lunch, participants are on their own to head home or start their new adventure.
