Lessons. For children to absorb.

More's the pity they aren't read aloud to kids as "bed time stories" anymore.

The films are okay, but poor subsitiute for parental interaction, methinks.

Seen them all. excellent movies. Read all of them out loud to my Dot for bedtime stories. excellent series of books.

No substitute for parental involvement, but that doesn't mean it's not a great story - it is and part of being a good parent is exposing your kid to positive stores, positive influences and positive activities.
