TR6 Went to Sussex British Car Field Day, with some baggage.

Went to Milwaukee Saturday to see our son. He is in grad school at Marquette and needed a desk, a couple of bar stools,... British Car Field Day was Sunday and it's a good show so, we brought the TR down. The trunk was full and we had lawn chairs in behind the seats. In college I had an apartment size refrigerator on it. Ran like a champ, 70 the whole way. Not the best gas mileage, but, it did the job. Told my wife as long as the rear decklid stayed on, we were good.

I never seen anything like that and I've had some pretty good loads on my rack...but nothing like that !
 
HAHA...that's great. That's something I definitely would have snapped a pic of if passing by. Doesn't quite match this tho...Lumber Jetta! And yes, that's real. :nightmare:
