Because I haven't really grown up by a long shot. About as much plot as a comic book should have, WONDERFUL animation! Including a number of shot designed for 3D. When Herge wrote TinTin he always included the latest technology for TinTin to fly, drive, ride etc. and this movie doesn't disappoint. Lots of cool renderings of (particularly) French cars; 4CV etc. One silly thing is that while the movie is obviously set in the "French" locale - Brussels? he pays "one pound" for the boat and has an English accent. (For some reason I felt like I was watching Will (Prince William with a cowlick for most of it)

Anyway, leading up the last scene he is driving a TR2 (or 3) Very cool! Of course it is accurate enough that when he comes to a halt, steam is escaping from the hood. (Admittedly after he had driven through a large hedge) but I am sure, being a triumph, it would have overheated anyway. :jester: )

All in all a fun movie.

Ditto.

The clips I've seen from this movie look great.....I hope to see it too.

I'm hoping to see it soon. From the screen shots I've seen it's a TR2. Small mouth, inset grille.
The ads for it look good.
