Had a local hot rod show last Saturday in our little town with over 90 registered cars. Took me back a few years seeing so many 50s and 60s beautifully restored and custom cars. A friend talked me in entering the MGB, which I originally didn't think was a proper thing to do, it was the only non American car there! Well the cars were judged by regular judges, no popular votes and I thought that was that! I fact I almost left early but got talking to a friend about his custom truck while the trophys were being called out and, you guessed it, the B was judged number 6 in 90 cars and was awarded a 2 1/2 foot tall trophy! That kinda made my day. And, I didn't even wax it before I went! :highly_amused: PJ

Congrats! You'll find a lot more of the shows encompass all cars, due to the dwindling number of entrants.

Well done!

I've generally found that car guys/gals like pretty much anything automotive regardless of point of origin.
