Went & Saw the Calif. Mille Cars Today

Pretty cool - I took the Cortina down to
Ferndale (CA)to see the cars.They let the first
25 "collector" cars (owned by the locals)park in
with the Mille cars.I was the first one there,got
to park closest.
Met some interesting people,& saw some REALLY
cool cars!- 2 Blower Bentleys,C type Jag,D type Jag,
a rare Fiat coupe,a really nice 100-4,& more older
Alfas than I've ever seen in one place.
The saadest thing to see was when a young woman,
trying to make room for a large Bristol coupe,backed
into the C type.I couldn't believe that she missed the
area where the door would be,and just tapped the area
ahead of the rear wheel well!
The driver took it all very well,but I think it
will cost the young woman.Very sad to see - and in front
of everyone.

No - didn't take the picture.
I figured it wouldn't be a nice thing
to do, in case the owner went ballistic
over it.
She was driving an early 356 coupe.
