Pretty easy to guess what it was. Just lucky to be able to have the camera ready when the local refinery came into view, couldn't have planned it better.

nother thing off the bucket list

Mark - I'm betting it's the Collings Foundation B-24.

Great aircraft. I think there were more B-24's manufactured in WW2 than any other aircraft.

I could never afford to fly in it, but have seen and explored it several times.

What's next on your bucket list?

Tom

Thats it. It has been changed to Witchcraft. Couldn't have had more fun, the bucket list is developing.

Too cool.

More made than any U.S. aircraft, anyway. I think they made more Bf 109s than anything else.

Got a hop in one back in 56, in the winter. Needed winter flight suit and a good set of ear plugs! Strictly military, NO insulation, NO heat! Like riding in a pile of loose rattling tin. Good aircraft though. Tough as nails. PJ
